In December 2016, I embarked on a scenic 3-day trek in Kathmandu with three friends in Nepal. The itinerary was wonderful, taking us through villages and farmlands, allowing us to witness the local lifestyle. This trek was manageable for beginners like us, and we were fortunate to have Mr. Santosh Gauli as our experienced guide, accompanied by Bhimsen Rijal (Bhim) as our porter. They made our trek safe, enjoyable, and encouraged us during challenging moments, such as the 9-hour trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot. The itinerary was as follows: Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Sundarijal and hike to Chisapani (4 hours) Day 02: Hike from Chisapani to Nagarkot (5-6 hours) Day 03: Hike from Nagarkot to Chagunarayan Temple and drive back to Kathmandu (3 hours).
