Returning from Everest base camp you can trek back in the same way down to Ringmo then walk another 4 hrs to salary to get the jeep back to Kathmandu it takes only 10 hrs to Kathmandu.

The cost for professional experienced guide cost about 40 USD per day and for basic English speakers guide cost 25 USD and porter cost 19 USD about it depends on them and agency some time. The guide might charge more if they are smart and knowledgeable. Note that when you are hiring your guide you should hire a license holder guide who is an authorized person it means if anything happens during your trek you can easily claim to your related agent or government-related office.
