Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our team members will be waiting to pick you up with private transportation. The size of the vehicle will be based on the size of your group. One of our representatives from Safe Holiday Adventure will be there to greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Once you have settled in, you will begin preparing for the trek and making any remaining payments for the trip. Our representative will be available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar. 7 Hrs

After breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, we will drive to the bus station, which is about a 15-minute drive from Thamel. We will board an early morning bus for the 7-hour drive to Arughat Bazaar. The bus ride will be a mix of paved and off-road driving, with about 3 hours spent on an off-road journey. As the bus is a public one, it will stop multiple times to drop off and pick up local passengers. Upon arrival in Arughat Bazaar, we will check into our accommodation for the night. Arughat Bazaar is situated near the Budi Gandaki river at the bottom of the massif mountains on both sides, providing beautiful views and a great starting point for the trek.

Day 03: Trek to Soti Khola (550m.) Approximate 6 hrs.

After breakfast, we will begin our trek to Soti Khola. The first day of the trek is an exciting opportunity to explore village life, nature, and meet local people. The trail is mostly flat and will take us through traditional houses, subtropical forests, and beautiful green vegetation. We will also pass by terraced fields of rice and corn. The trek will take approximately 6 hours, and upon arrival in Soti Khola, we will check into our accommodation for the night. Soti Khola is located on the banks of the Budi Gandaki River, offering a peaceful and scenic setting for the night.

Day 03: Trek to Machha Khola (885m.) About 6 hrs.

Today we will trek to Machha Khola, a journey of approximately 6 hours. The trail offers many zigzag walking routes with beautiful views of forests, terraced fields, local villages, and valleys. We will also pass by Tibetan and Mongolian settlements along the way. The trek includes crossing suspension bridges and walking along the cliffs of the mountain, which are highlights of the day. After a day of beautiful scenery and interesting cultural encounters, we will arrive at Machha Khola where we will spend the night in a local lodge.

Day 04: Machha Khola to Jagat (1350m.) About 6 hrs.

On this day, we will trek from Machha Khola to Jagat, a journey of approximately 6 hours. The trail starts with a small path leading to Thado Khola, where we will continue on to Khorlabeshi. After passing through the village, we will encounter a mix of uphill and downhill terrain before reaching Tatopani. Here, we will have the opportunity to take a natural bath in a pool to relax and rejuvenate our tired legs and bodies. We will then continue on to the ridge of the hill and cross suspension bridges over the Budi Gandaki River. The trail can be dangerous in certain areas, such as landslide-prone areas and isolated regions, so it is important to stay with the group and follow the guidance of the guide. After crossing the bridges and the ridge, we will arrive at Jagat, where we will spend the night.

Day 05: Jagat to Deng (1860m.) Approximate 7 hrs.

On this day, we will begin our trek from Jagat to Deng, a journey of approximately 7 hours. The trail starts by passing through the villages of Salleri and Sirdibas. We will then continue on to Ghatte Khola, where we will cross a long suspension bridge to reach Phillim, a large and rich Gurung community. Some travelers choose to stay in Phillim instead of Deng. The trail today offers a mix of walking through the valley, bamboo forests, and rocky terrain, as well as crossing suspension bridges. We will spend the night in a local lodge in the village of Deng.

Day 06: Trek to Namrung (2625m).6 hrs walk

The trek to Namrung begins with a relatively easy start, but the trail becomes more challenging as it crosses a bridge and climbs up to Rana. The trail continues through a forest and past colorful Mani walls and monasteries, eventually reaching Gap, a great spot to view the high mountains like Ganesh Himal, Siring Himal, and Hochuli. The trail continues through the valley before making a final uphill climb to the village of Namrung, where you will spend the night. The trek is 6 hours in total.

Day 08: Namrung to Lho-Gaon (3100m.) 4 Hrs walk

The trek from Namrung to Lho-Gaon is a 4 hour’s walk, characterized by a windy day as you move into the high Himalayan region. The trail starts with a steep climb to Lihi, known for its terraced fields and crops. The peaceful surroundings and stunning green views will provide inspiration as you continue to Simpang and eventually reach Lho Gaon. You will spend the night at a local lodge.

Day 09: Lhogaon to Samagaon (3400m.) takes 4 hrs

The trek from Lhogaon to Samagaon takes around 4 hours. The trail continues to climb through remote villages, offering a chance to experience the local culture and customs. The views of the surrounding mountains become more dramatic as you reach the higher altitude of Samagaon.

Day 10: Acclimatization day at Samagaon.

Today is the acclimatization day at Samagaon, a small village located in the Himalayan region. The group is taking it easy to adjust to the altitude before starting the trek to base camp tomorrow.

Day 11: Samagaon to Samdo (3690 m) 4 to5 hrs

The journey from Samagaon to Samdo is a challenging trek that takes 4 to 5 hours. The trail leads through rocky terrain and along the Bhiarab Khola river. The altitude increases to 3690 meters above sea level, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The destination, Samdo, is a small village located in the Himalayas, offering a glimpse into traditional Tibetan culture.

Day 12: Samdo to Dharmasala (4480m). 5 hrs

The trek from Samdo to Dharmasala is a rigorous hike that takes around 5 hours. The trail is steep and rocky, and the altitude increases to 4480 meters above sea level. The journey offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges, including the famous Mt. Manaslu. Dharmasala is a remote high-altitude camp used by trekkers and mountaineers as a stopover before continuing on to the higher passes.

Day 13: Cross Larkya La (Pass) (5135m) then treks to Bimthang (359om.) 7hrs

The trek across Larkya La Pass is a strenuous hike that takes around 7 hours. The pass stands at an altitude of 5135 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range. The trail is rocky and steep, crossing glaciers and snowfields. After crossing the pass, the trek descends to the beautiful Bimthang valley at an altitude of 3590 meters. The trek offers a challenging but rewarding experience, with breathtaking mountain views and a chance to explore remote Himalayan villages.

Day 14: Bumthang to Dharapani (1860m.) 6 to 7 Hrs

The trek from Bumthang to Dharapani takes 6 to 7 hours and offers a chance to explore the beautiful Bhimtang village, with its stunning mountain views. The trail descends through a Rhododendron forest and over a bridge crossing the Dudh Khola river. The journey continues through small valleys and fields, passing through Tilije and other villages where you can witness the local farming practices. The trail then ascends to Gho before descending and crossing bridges to reach the cozy village of Dharapani, located in the Annapurna Conservation Area. It’s a perfect place to spend a night and experience the local culture.

Day 15: Dharapani to Kathmandu via Besishahar. 8 hrs

Day 15 marks the end of the trek as the group makes their way back to Kathmandu. The journey begins with an 8-hour drive from Dharapani to Besishahar and then continues on to Kathmandu. The drive offers a chance to take in the beautiful landscapes and villages of the region one last time before returning to the hustle and bustle of the city.

Day 16: Depart way home

After an unforgettable experience in Nepal, the group will say goodbye and depart on their way home. The journey has been filled with beautiful landscapes, challenging hikes, and cultural immersion. They will take with them lasting memories and an appreciation for the natural beauty and rich culture of Nepal.
